October SoulGood Pilates Challenge!
/Welcome, Friends!
If you follow me on Instagram, you saw that in September I challenged myself to do some sort of Pilates practice/workout every day.
I enjoyed it so much that I decided to challenge myself to not only practice Pilates every day in October, but to make some videos of myself doing Pilates.
It's all for you, my Dear Friends.
I want you to be able to follow along and do it with me.
I'm kind of going out on a limb here: I've never posted videos before due to my Perfectionist Nature. You see, every time I recorded something in the past, I had to go back and re-do it because something wasn't exactly right. Again and again and again. Nothing was ever perfect enough so I never posted any of them.
*Sigh*
Funny, kind of. Sad, totally.
But, Dear Friends, this Perfectionism Disease has been depriving you of valuable information! I can't do that to you any longer.
I have gone outside my comfort zone.
I have posted imperfect videos to YouTube.
And I've linked to them here on this very website.
And on FaceBook.
And Instagram.
(Panic! Run! Hide! Change my name! Get plastic surgery so no one will recognize me!)
(No. Just take a deep breath and trust that you all will love me despite my imperfections.)
Anyway!
What is the October PJ's Pilates Challenge?
I am challenging myself to:
1. Practice Pilates every day.
I will choose a theme weekly and post one or more videos so that you can join me if you wish.
2. Post something about it daily on Instagram, Facebook, and/or Twitter.
I will use the hashtag #PilatesEveryDayChallenge whenever I post. If you participate, make
sure you do the same and also tag me @PJsPilates so I can see what you are up to!
That's it! My challenge to myself, and to you if you choose to accept it. Even if you don't want to commit to Pilates-ing every day, tag me and use the hashtag whenever you do make it happen. I'd love to have some company.
I will post a link to the weekly challenges in the bio on my Instagram account, @PJsPilates.
Below is week one...
Ready, Set, Go!
Week 1 (Today, 10/1 through Weds 10/7):
The Basic 5
The first video is the Intro and Explanation.
The video below is the first in the Basic 5 Series: Hundred.
I hope you all enjoy watching/following along with the videos as much as I enjoyed creating them for you. And I hope you find them to be Useful Information.
xoxo,
PJ
