Pilates is system of exercise that strives to develop the body uniformly.  Regular practice can reduce pain, correct muscle imbalances, increase flexibility, and build strength.
Pilates works large muscles and small, never isolating one muscle group but instead .working the body as a whole.  
As students execute each movement with precision and control, Pilates calls on the mind and spirit to enhance the function of the body.
